May 1, 2015 – We spent an entire day learning about Carbon Farming Solutions from thought-leaders like Rebecca Burgess, Founder & Executive Director of
Fibershed, John Wick &
Jeff Creque, co-founders of
The Marin Carbon Project, Ariel Greenwood,
Holistic Ag. Herdess & Agroecologist at Pepperwood Preserve, Guido Frosini, land steward of
True Grass Farms, Torri Estrada, of the
Carbon Cycle Institute, and Loren Poncia, whose ranch,
Stemple Creek Ranch, has been stewarded by his same family for over 100 years.
The day culminated in an incredible visioning among tour participants of what it might look like to advance these solutions on the land, shepherded by the commitment of B-Corporations and other values-aligned businesses. Follow my blog to stay in the loop as I track the solutions and the thought-leaders & changemakers who are stewarding them into being…..
Gratitude to
Fibershed &
The Sustainable Enterprise Conference and to the sponsor of this tour,
